White Chocolate Chip Brownies

Never say no to chocolate.
Chocolate is one of my many guilty-pleasures. Knowing that I can incorporate variations of chocolate into one dessert is beyond fulfilling! Brownies are fun because you can put just about any toppings in there and they'll be great.

As far as brownie mix-ins go for me:
The toughest part about this recipe is cutting the parchment paper and fitting it to you 9x9 pan. Luckily, there are brands that sell parchment paper with pre-made lines for you to cut. Here is what my pan looked like after baking:
Makes: 9 brownies
1 cup of granulated sugar
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp of salt
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup of melted butter + an additional 2 tbsp of melted butter
1 1/2 cups of melted chocolate chips
(optional: 1 cup of white chocolate or chocolate chips, or none to mix in)
What Do I Do?:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
Pour melted butter in a large bowl. Whisk in the sugar until it is smooth.
Add in one egg at a time and vanilla extract. Whisk for about 1 minute.
Add the melted chocolate until it is smooth.
With a rubber spatula, stir in flour, cocoa, and salt.
Lastly, add in the chocolate chips.
Bake for 30 minutes and let cool before you remove the brownies from the parchment paper.
Enjoy with a scoop of ice cream and caramel.
